I am Jordan Dawson

I’m a multidisciplinary writer and creative thinker based in Chicago, with a BFA in Creative Writing and Fashion Communications. My work is rooted in storytelling across various mediums, including journalism, poetry, digital content, and personal essays. I believe great writing doesn’t just fill space — it creates connection.

Whether I’m crafting brand copy, social captions, or editorial pieces, I approach each project with intention, emotion, and a deep respect for voice. My goal is to make people feel something and to translate ideas into messages that resonate, whether through a full campaign or a single, well-placed line. I also produce and host an independent podcast, where I develop long-form narratives and conversations centered on culture, creativity, and personal growth. I’ve published essays and interviews, worked in high-volume, public-facing roles, and created content designed to perform across digital platforms.

I’m especially passionate about helping brands find their tone, build trust, and show up consistently, because storytelling doesn’t end after the first click — it continues through every caption, headline, and call to action.
